Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New York (CENAN) seeks approval to procure, on a sole source basis, additional architect-engineer services from STV/LYONS Associates, Baltimore, MD for continued Post Design Services for the Indoor Marksmanship Center at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. An Indefinite Delivery Firm-Fixed Price Contract was executed between the Department of the Army, Mobile District, Corps of Engineers (USACOE) and STV/LYONS Associates on 19 Mar 98 for Architect-Engineer (A/E) services at the Mobile District's Military Master Planning Program at Hurlburt Field, FL. The existing contract with the contractor has expired with work ongoing leaving work uncompleted. This action is a notice of intent is to award a contract to STV/LYONS Associates, Baltimore, MD as a follow-on action for design and non-design services for additional architect-engineer services of the Indoor Marksmanship Center at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. The firm is uniquely familiar with the present work onsite within West Point to include applicable local laws and requirements and state requirements for technical regulations as required by the state of New York. STV/LYONS Associates also has strong on-site presence to insure capability of meeting the construction deadline upon conclusion of all construction design work presently being performed.
