Description

The project consists of, but is not limited to modifications and = repairs to the existing Engine Shop Facility 725, at Dover Air Force = Base, Delaware including modifying and/or removing administrative = areas, windows, roofing, latrines, electrical and mechanical systems, = fire alarm system, fire protection system and utilities. This project = also includes removal of asbestos containing materials and lead = contaminated materials. The North American Industry Classification = System (NAICS) code is 23331. The approximate issue date will be 10 = Jul 2001 with an approximate response date of 8 Aug 2001. This = solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted = basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration = (CCR). All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. The = offeror must be licensed as required by the State of Delaware for the = purpose of removal, encapsulation, enclosure, demolition and = maintenance of structure covered by or composed of asbestos-containing = materials. The offeror must be State of Delaware certified for the = purpose of lead based paint removal. Offerors without written proof of = Delaware State license for asbestos and Delaware certification for lead = based paint removal at the time of initial offer, will be not be = considered for award. The performance period is 365 calendar days. The = project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000, 000.
