- Description
- Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) This initiative is for a long term, commercial, 3PL, indefinite quantity contract for 10 years, for 3143 NSNs and 1988 part numbers and services consisting of repairs, maintenance, training, surge and sustainment, customer service, and running and evaluating the ROWPU rodeo for CONUS and OCONUS. The two ROWPU systems are the 3000 gallon per hour (GPH) and the 600 GPH systems. The ROWPUs are defined to include the following: (1) The basic water system Consisting of the water purification system, water intake systems, potable water distribution system, and pump and compressors. (2) Generators. (3) Trailer. (4) NBC filter. (5) Winterization kit. (6) Pre and post water treatment systems. (7) Water quality analysis sets. (8) Small mobile water chillers. See Note(s): one (1). This solicitation can be down loaded from the web site address above but will not be available until 15 days after this notice is published in the CBD. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Information in obtaining Acquisition Item Description (AID), drawings, military and commercial specifications and bid sets can be found in the above web site address. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 10 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
