Description

This is an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract solicitation for multipple part numbered items to Derbyshire Machine and Tool and other manufacturersas well as other competitive items to be manufactured to Government drawings/specifications, with various quantities to be shipped to various destinations. All NSNs will be available for download under "Aquisition Download" menu item on the DSCC InterNet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available by assessing http://dibbs.dscccols.com. FSCs to be covered by this project include: 1075,2030,2040,3010,4320,4730,4820,and 4940. Notes 1, 9, 12, 26 applies. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Inernet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on it's issue date of 28 June 01. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Offerors are required to download the solicitation and associated Excel file from the above website and return both to the DSCC bidroom by the closing date. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Applies to certain items, see teh solicitation. Technical drawing/bid sets for the competitive items will be available from DSCC-VTCD via CD-ROM and requests must be submitted via an online request through the DSCC website. The online request is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Bidsets/Request/request.asp. Complete all of the required information on the online request form and include "Multiple NSNs" in the comments section. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMEMRCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available for the CAGE and Part Number items in the solicitation. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. A portion of the acquisition is unrestricted, see solicitation. This proposed procurement included a family group of items within the Federal Supply 1075, 2030, 2040,3010, 4320, 4730, 4820, and 4940. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
