Description

Project consists of reconstruction of U.S. Forest Service Recreation Area Entrance Road at Alexander Springs Recreation Area located on the Ocala National Forest, Seminole Ranger District, Lake County, FL. Work includes clearing and grubbing appox. 1 acre, excavation, 500 C.Y., borrow excavation, 250 C.Y., pit run limerock, 390 C.Y., hot bituminous plant mix, 213 tons, emulsified asphalt, 225 gal, sodding, 800 S.Y. and misc related work. Project site is in a remote area approximately 40 miles east of Ocala, FL. Contract time is 45 calendar days. Contract award will be based on "Best Value" to the Government, price and other factors considered. Quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria: past performance, experience, and price listed in order of importance. This project is 100% set-aside for "emerging small business concerns" under the U.S. Small Business Administration Competitive Demonstration Program. The emerging small business size standard is $13.75 million and the NAIC Code is 234110. The Government's estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
