Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = issued by the 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC and = prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition = Regulation (FAR) document subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional = information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the = only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written = solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F31610-01-Q-0358 = is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The government = intends to issue a purchase order for F-15E tail stands. No partial = quotes will be considered. Please acknowledge all items on the = quotations (see attached). The provisions and clauses applicable to = this purchase order are included. NAICS CODE: 421860 Quotes must be = valid for 30 calendar days after the due date of this RFQ. The = proposed contract is contemplated as a sole source with United Rentals = Aerial Equipment. Drawings will not be made available due to = proprietary ownership. It is anticipated that the SF 1449 solicitation = will be issued electronically on or about 6 June 2001 on the = Government's Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) at = www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register = on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the = solicitation. Include the following information with your request: (1) = Company Name, (2) Point of Contact, (3) Phone and FAX Numbers, (4) = E-mail Address, (5) Street Address with 9-digit Zip Code, and (6) = Business Size Status.
