Description

This is a correction to this synopsis published on or about 2 May 01. The correct NAICS is 332710 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL intends to solicit competitive proposals for the fabrication of machined and welded parts/brackets to be used in the life-cycle maintenance of and for possible future construction of additional small submersible vehicles. These parts are fabricated from aluminum and / or corrosion resistant steel. Contractor will be required to provide and maintain a quality system that, as a minimum, adheres to the requirements of ISO or ANSI/ASQC 9OOO. Welding procedures and Welder qualification will be required to be in accordance with NAVSEA Technical Publication S9074-AQ-GIB-010/278. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 West Highway 98, Panama City, Florida, 32407-7001. A five-year requirements type contract is anticipated. This will be a 100% small business set aside. Note 1 applies. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Solicitation will be available for download on or about June 29, 2001.
