Description

The Western Area Power Administration intends to contract with Tellabs Operations, Inc. on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. The award is to provide one (1) each 3-DS3 (only 2 equipped) 32-DS1 Tellabs Titan 532 digital crossconnect, to include Redundancy Package for each (includes both processor and DS3 redundancy) and Electric Spare Kits, to interface with Tellabs Network Management System. Award is also to provide for Engineering Services, Installation Material, Installation Labor and Acceptancy Testing. Firms that recognize and can furnish the required products that are compatible with the Tellabs Network Management System are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer and submit a statement of capabilities with documentation suuporting its ability to meet the Government's specifications for the products as described above. If no responses are received within 15 days of the date of this notice, the Government will pursue a sole source contract award with Tellabs Operations, Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
