Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement to obtain a Focused Beam Free Space Signature Materials Measurement System from the Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation (GTARC), Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, GA. Drawings, technical data packages, specifications, engineering descriptions, statements of work or purchase descriptions suitable for full and open competition are not available because this measurement system was originally developed by GTARC as a one-of-a-kind item to perform specific measurements. Therefore, GTARC is the only contractor possessing the complete technical documentation for all components of the Focused Beam Free Space Signature Materials Measurement System. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price -- Supply. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 25 June 2001, with the receipt of proposal due 30 days thereafter. See Numbered Note 22.
