Description

This notice constitutes Amendment No. 1 to the combined synopsis/RFP for Spaceflight Laptop Computers and Associated Hardware supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their offer. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the proposal receipt date to June 21, 2001, 4:00 CST. To allow offerors additional time in preparation of their proposals in response to the above solicitation, NASA is extending the proposal receipt date for one week. This is the only extension to the solicitation as NASA is on a tight schedule for radiation testing of the laptops in the competitive range. Any additional delays will cause this procurement to potentially slip into the Spring of 2002. Offerors are required to acknowledge the attached Amendment 1 to solicitation 9-BJ2-Z64-1-24P and return three signed copies with their proposal. The statement of work and terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. Offers shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFP posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 21, 2001. Documents related to this solicitation will be available over the Internet. These documents are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
