Description

Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform the conversion of the PG-616 Oil Spill Response Boat in accordance with the statement of work. The PG-616 is a Fleet utility Craft measuring approximately 57 feet in length; 15 feet in breadth, drawing approximately three feet of water at the full load line and displacing approx. 32 s/t at the light load draft. Make all removals and restorations; remove and replace interferences; rig and unrig to make all dissassemblies and subsequat reassembles as required. All work shall be in compliance with the States Public Health Service, the Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Federal (FED-OSHA) and the Institue of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Because this vessel is not considered deep-sea worthy all repair/up[grade work must be performed on this vessel in the San Francisco Bay Area, such area to include the up-river areas of Sacramento and Stockton. The vessel will be delivered to the contractor's work site by the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet personnel prior to the commencemnt of the work and picked up at the same facility upon completion of the work. Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitation for work on this vessel and all responsible offerors may submit bids which shall be considered by the agency.
