- This sources sought synopsis is for informational purposes only in order to gain knowledge regarding interested sources and to determine the feasibility of a single requirements contract for repair of circuit card assemblies and power supplies for 15 different systems. The requirement could consist of approximately 70 different circuit card assemblies and 35 different power supplies. The systems may include Atmospheric Early Warning System, Ground Based Sensors, Ground Theater Air Systems, Range Threat, Telecom, Weather, Tactical Shelters, Defense Meteorological Satellite Program, Missile Warning Space & Surveillance System, AF Satellite Control Network/Satellite Control, Global Positioning Satellite, Military Satellite Communications, Cheyenne Mountain Complex, and Defense Support Program/Space Base Infrared Radar System. Interested parties capable of accomplishing the required repairs, in whole, or by teamed effort, are invited to submit an affirmative response to this notice. Partial solutions should also be submitted. Firms should include literature, brochures, prior experience in this type of effort, and capability summaries and approaches directly addressing their ability to meet the aforementioned needs. The capability summary and approach must include how test procedures for the various systems would be handled. The approaches submitted are for informational purposes only, to assist the Air Force in determining if a procurement covering a large number of systems for these like items is feasible. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, and if the government decides to proceed with an acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in the CBD. There is no solicitation available at this time. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to, and separate from, responding to this sources sought synopsis.
