Description

The MEDCOM Contracting Center is proposing to award a five (5) year sole source contract, under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), to The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) at Houston to provide fifty (50) Army Nurse Anesthetists with a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia. The University is the only state supported university that provides a nurse anesthesia focused curriculum and which will also accomodate the military students with access to their libraries and bookstores for educational pursuits. Under the authority of FAR 5.203, the Publication and Response time has been shortened to 7 days from the date of this notice. (See Note 22)
