Description

Restore wetland characteristics of a Carolina Bay located in Sumter County, South Carolina. The work includes construction of an earthen ditch plug with 24 inch barrel pipe and 36 inch riser, the construction of swales with spoil banks, and installation of approximately 3,000 feet of 12-inch PVC pipe for gravity flow water line. A site showing will be held beginning at 1:00 P.M., July 10, 2001. In order to participate in the site showing, interested parties are to meet in the parking lot of the Market Express/Exxon Station, U.S. Highway 378 at Stamey Livestock Road(County Rd. 91), approximately two miles west of the City of Sumter, SC and approximately one mile east of Shaw AFB.
