Description

INDEFINITE QUANTITY PAINTING, NAVAL AIR STATION, MERIDIAN, MS. Furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform the work specified. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery, (IDQ) type contract with a base year and 3 possible options. The work includes cleaning preparation and painting of various buildings and other work as specified. The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, are available for viewing and downloading at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective Offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before Proposals are Due to the address listed above, or faxed to (601) 679-2147, Attn: Barry Leaver. All bids submitted by responsible sources shall be considered. The projected date for issuance of solicitation documents is 28 June 2001. The estimated date for bid opening is 27 July 2001. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. THE MINIMUM GUARANTEE FOR BASE YEAR ONLY IS $25,000.00. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 3 possible options.
