Description

This project is to Remove and Replace PWT Office Building Roof. Remove existing built-up roofing materials and replace with standing seam roof assembly in accordance with Factory Mutual requirements for Class 1A fire-hazard resistance and Class 1-90 windstorm resistance. The work includes removal of existing asbestos and lead materials at the PWT Office Building 740 at Arnold AFB, Tennessee. The total roof area is 20,500 square feet. This work to be done in incremental stages each consisting of: existing roof tear off, clean and restore concrete, provide interim waterproof membrane seal, provide new roof support system, and provide new standing seam roof. The Period of Performance will be 90 calendars after notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this effort is between $100,000 -- $500,000.
