Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F19650-01-Q-0025 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 339111. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees . This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 dated 16 May 2001. The procurement for a Laboratory Camera is to consist of the following: CLIN 0001, 1 EA, Merlin InSb Laboratory Camera; High Performance mid-wave infrared camera system in the 1.5 to 5 micron spectral range. Merlin InSb Laboratory Camera Specifications: 1) ISC9705 based InSb focal plane array (FPA) mounted in an 84 pin leadless chip carrier (LCC); 2) Imaging electronics providing all drive functions necessary to operate the FPA in single output mode, generate NTSB (PAL) and digital video outputs; 3) Pour fill LN2 dewar (F/2.6) configured for ISC9705 device package; 4) 1 to 6 micron dewar window; 5) 3 to 5 micron cold filter (uninstalled); 6) Enclosed unit containing the electronics, dewar interface, connector interfaces for remote panel, power, video, RS-232 and digital data; 7) Remote button panel assembly and cable; 8) Floppy disk with Graphical User Interface Software; 9) BNC cable, S-Video Cable; and 10) Two black calibration plates. CLIN 0002 One to Six Micron Window; and CLIN 0003, 1 EA, Shipping Charges. FOB Point: Destination. Quotations that do not include prices for all of the CLINs will not be considered.
