Description

Negotiations to be conducted with TSI, Inc., St. Paul, MN for one (1) Model 3936NL25 Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer System. The TSI Model 3936NL25 Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS) provides complete scans each 60 seconds, significantly reducing the amount of time required to run experiments. It displays data using 162 size channels from 0.003 to 1.0 micrometer (3 to 1,000 nanometers). Scans are made continuously, so there are no gaps in the data distribution. It also uses software compatible with the Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT operating systems. This equipment is being ordered specifically from TSI, Inc., because TSI instrumentation is presently in use and the new equipment must be fully compatible and used with the existing equipment. It is also the only equipment known to offer the degree of acuracy and reliability described and needed for the work. This notice is for information purposes only.
