Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement to purchase 16,800 tons of crushed limestone and 6,000 square yards of geotextile fabric for a surfacing project in the Atchafalaya Basin Levee District. Solicitation DACW29-01-R-0028 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 1422 and the business size is 500 employees. The NAICS code is 212312. This solicitation is issued as 100% small business set aside. All interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax, 504-862-2889. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on or about July 10, 2001 at 1700 hours.
