Description

The U.S. Robert Morris Acquisition Center/Natick has a requirement for Grab Hook Assembly, quantity 621 each. The Government anticipates this acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price type purchase order. The general characteristics and item description are: Grabhook Assembly 25,000 POUND, NSN 4030-01-048-4047, Part Number 38850-00011-046, Grabhook, Forged and Machined, Material: Steel, AMS 6370, 4130, 6382, 6349,4140, 6415,4340; Spacer, 1.94 inch long, 2.00 inch diameter, drilled with .76 inch diameter hole, Material QQ-A-225-9, Anodized; Keeper, 2.75 inch long, 1.34 inch wide top, .72 inch wide bottom, Material: Steel, AMS 6345, 4130, .063 inch thick; Spring, .075 inch wire diameter, 7 1/3 coils right hand, torque at 3.60 inch pounds, galvanized; Grove Pin, 3.484 inch long, .745 inch diameter, Material: Steel AMS 6415, Proof Load 24,500 pounds; Retaining Ring, MS3217-1075; Bolt, NAS1303-21; Nut, NASM21042-3; Coupler Link, 664241/577-9135, galvanize with chromate treatment per ASTM B695-91 used as a component of a Cargo Sling System to suspend and transport cargo externally underneath utility and cargo type helicopters. All deliveries of the Grab Hook Assemblies shall be F.O.B. Destination, with shipments to New Cumberland, PA. Selection will be based on the quoter's proposed price and past performance. Prices shall be filled in on the Request For Quotes (RFQ) DAAD15-01-Q-0013. Offeror's shall submit a one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each, a current telephone and fax number, order/contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Industry is 332212 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Solicitation, with attachments will be posted on the Acquisition Center's web site: http://www3.natick.army.mil on or about 19 June 2001. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by this agency.
