Description

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to Rigaku/MCS, Inc. Woodlands, TX, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) -- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for the following items: 1) Mirror-Conbluer MSC/MAX Flux Confocal Optical System (right port configuration) with hardware included (1 each); 2) RAG-BE-D2R72L Be Window 4550-408-02 (1 each); 3) RAG-BE-4DS020 BE Window S O-Ring (1 each); 4) Installation; and 5) Shipping Charges. These items will be used to upgrade existing Rigaku generator. The items can utilize existing system parts and include required alignment hardware that will be safety interlocked to existing shutters. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 5 days of closing date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 5 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Rigaku/MSC, Inc. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500EM. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.*****
