Description

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract = to Vertex, RSI under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation = number 6TSA-01-JMT-0177. The solicitation document and incorporated = provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition = Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other = supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement = is for CLIN 1: NSM-8448 (GEN II) NODAL SATELLITE MULTIPLEXER UPGRADE, = QTY 31 . This procurement is for USAFACEUR, 7th Signal Brigade, = Mannheim, Germany. The proposed contract action is for supplies or = services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with = only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may = identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or = submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive = proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m., CST, 6/18/2001 will be = considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to = compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is = solely within the discretion of the government.
