Description

Rural Development intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to DataLink, St. Louis, MO for the expansion of an existing system. The expansion must be compatible with existing system and prior integration of same. Purchase and installation of any other expansion components will void existing warranties and maintenance agreements. The following will be purchased: 1 each, 30-slot ATL Tape Library with 2-DLT 7000 Drives, 2 each 30' 68-pin cables, 1 each Veritas Master Server, 2 each Tier 2 Client, 1 each Tier 1 Client, Equipment/Software Installation, and one year, 24X7 maintenance support for both hardware and software. No solicitation is available. Responses submitted shall include clear and convincing evidence for the Agency to evaluate the possibility that offeror has submitted a valid proposal. Determination to open competition will be at the Government's discretion. All responses shall be received in writing no later than June 27, 2001. Requests for solicitation will not be acknowledged.
