Description

The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-NC-01-0019, for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prison's requirements for nutritional items (dietary supplements, tube feedings and specialty thickened products), spike sets and feeding pumps. For some nutritional items, the Government will request offers for both ready to serve and closed systems. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year options. Distribution may be through Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV), the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) and/or direct delivery. The Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about 7/1/01, at the VA office of Acquisition and Materiel Management's internet webb site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Offers will be due 8/1/01.
