Description

This is a notice of contract action for the award of a = fixed-price contract for annual maintenance of Uninterruptible Power = Source (UPS) Systems, Sealed Battery Modules, and associated equipment. = The effort consists of providing all parts, labor, test equipment, = materials, transportation, supervision, and any other item or service = necessary to perform remedial and preventive maintenance of equipment = serviced. The equipment to be serviced is located in various = USSTRATCOM facilities at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. The contractor to = provide comprehensive service for each equipment as prescribed by the = Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). An operational effectiveness = rate of 99.5% shall be maintained IAW the Performance Work Statement = (PWS) to be release later as part of the solicitation package. = Preventive maintenance shall be scheduled in advance and accomplished = not less than semiannually. Factory-trained personnel shall perform = all remedial maintenance, and respond to emergency service calls within = four (4) hours of initial notification. Service reports to be provided = and kept on-site. The intended contract will be for a base period of = one year with the Government's option to extend the contract in = increments of four (4) one-year option periods. This procurement is a = total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS and Size = Standard are 811212, and $18 million respectively. The solicitation = will be issued on or about July 2, 2001.
