Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons/Southeast Regional Office is soliciting on a Competitive basis a qualified individual or organization to provide services as a Dental Hygienist. The services will be proformed at United States Penitentiary (USP), Coleman,Florida. The Regional Office intends to make a single award for the non-personal medical services contract to provide Dental Hygienist services to the inmates incarcerated at the USP. The contract period will include a base year ( 10-01-2001 through 09/30/2002) with four (4) one year option year renewal periods. The estimated issue date fr the Request for Quotation (30211-0029) will be on or aroung July 23, 2001, with an anticipated return date of August 24, 2001. The work schedule will normally consist of five(5) sessions per week, with a sesions length defined as six (6) hours. A typical session wil be from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 pm with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch period. An estimated 240 sessions per contract period will be required. The contractor will not work more than a thirty (30) hour work week. Special qualification will be as follows: Licence to practice as a dental hygienist, provice certification or diploma as Dental Hygienist, and verification of credentials. Professional liability insurance will be required prior to contract award.
