Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide janitorial services at the Air Traffic Control Facility, Washington/Dulles Int'l. Airport, Chantilly, VA. The period of performance is estimated to begin on August 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2001 with four (4) one-year option periods. This Screening Information Request (SIR) is 100% set-aside for Economically Disadvantaged Companies (8A) Certified by the SBA under Standard Industrial Classification Size Standard Code 7349 and located within one-hundred mile radius of Washington/Dulles Int'l. Airport. Companies that qualify should submit documentation of their SBA Certification and a letter of interest to Nadene Fontano at fascimile No. (718) 995-5685. Upon verification of elegibility, the SIR will be provided. A proposal conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at 10:00 AM. Due to security reasons, no other date will be available. Offers will be accepted from only those contractors who have attended the walk-thru to assure a full understanding of the requirements. Evaluation of proposals to this SIR will rely heavily on Past Performance. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "best buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest offered.
