Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the procurement of twenty (20) Hydraulic Flow Control Regulator Assemblies (P/N 4820-0039) and modify forty-three (43) Government owned assemblies (P/N 4820-0039). The Government intends to procure from AAI/ACL technologies under the authority of 10 USC 2304(C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). AAI/ACL manufactured the fleet's current assets of hydraulic regulators. AAI/ACL owns the original drawing package and is the only company on the QPL. Firms that recognize and produce the required items described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
