Description

SHACKLE ASSEMBLY The U.S. Robert Morris Acquisition Center/Natick has a requirement for Shackle Assembly quantity 635 each. NSN:4030-01-048-4045. The government anticipates this acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price type purchase order. The general characteristics and item description are: Shackle, U-shaped, Forged and Machined, Material: Aluminum, ASTM B247, 7075-T73: Pin, 6.56 inch long, Drilled Material, Steel AMS 6415. 4340, 35.300 pound proof load, Bolt, NAS 1306-16D; Nut AN320C6, Cotter Pin, MS24665-302; Spacer, 3.62 inch long, 2.25 inch outside diameter, 1.16 inside diameter. Material QQ-A-225-9, 7075-T651, Part Number 38850-00004-045, Anodized, used as a component of a Cargo Sling System to suspend and transport cargo externally underneath utility and cargo type helicopters. Delivery of the Shackle Assembly shall be F.O.B. Destination with shipment to New Cumberland, Pa. Contract award will be based on the quoter's proposal price and the past performance in cable manufacturing and testing. Prices shall be filled in on the Request For Quote (RFQ) DAAD15-01-Q-0012. Offeror's shall also submit a one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two years) references for the same or similar item. The past performance sheet must contain a point of contact for each, a current telephone and fax number, order/contact. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Industry is 332212 and the size standard is 500 employees.
