Description

Furnish and install one (1) each, microprocessor-controlled Large Piece Folder for the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in West Virginia capable of folding knitted fitted sheets, thermal blankets, bath blankets, bed pads, pajama tops, pajama bottoms, terry towels, hand towels and gowns. Folders shall be located near the folding tables so they may be used in tandem. Folder shall include a digital counter and return-to-feed conveyor. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or about June 15, 2001. All responsible sources may submit proposals which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted electronically at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp.htm on or about the issue date. Request for copies of the solicitation from the Contracting Officer must be received in writing. Award of contract is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds.
