Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. M0068101T4980 is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and DAC 97-13. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 322121- 750 employees. The item is as follows: ITEM 0001 QTY 16 each, Milk Dispenser Silver King Imperial Model SK3 or equal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Exterior, gleaming high luster stainless steel, galvanized rear, stainless steel back covers. Interior, stainless steel, 18 gauge bottom, 12 gauge steel angle frame welded into cabinet interior, 14 gauge steel welded base assembly. Doors, stainless steel interior and exterior, temperature indicator in door. Hardware, glass locators on front aprons, chrome plated or stainless steel, wide surface, lift-off door hinges. Legs, adjustable 4-inch drip proof, pedestal-type, NSF. Refrigeration, CFC-Free, hermetically sealed, self-contained system with fan cooled condenser, cold wall copper tube evaporator for even distribution of cooling, adjustable temperature control and built-in temperature indicator. Standard electrical 115 volt, 60Hz, with 8-foot, 3-wire service cord and polarized plug. Containers, accommodates 3 or 5-gallon dispenser cans or 3, 5 or 6-gallon single service bag and box containers. ITEM 0002 QTY 1 each, Show Off Refrigerator Traulsen Model TRC-1G or equal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Three full length tempered glass doors, four adjustable glass shelves, three fluorescent lights with clear plastic fluorescent light shields, automatic condensate removal, separate on/off switch for lights and rotation, 115 volt self-contained refrigeration system, one piece louver assemblies, walnut d cor package, cord & plug attached, and casters. ITEM 0003 QTY 1 each, Ice Cube Machine, Manitowoc Model QD-1802A or equal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Air cooled, 1,880lbs per day capacity, standard electrical 208-230/60/1, regular cube size ice. ITEM 0004 QTY 1 each, Commercial Ice Storage Bin, Manitowoc Model S-970 or equal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Storage Capacity 710lbs, 29.7cubic feet. All responsible sources may submit an offer. All Contractors submitting a proposal are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. Proposals are solicited FOB Destination to Camp Pendleton, CA. Delivery is required for all items on or before 30 July 2001. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Award be on an all or none. Do not submit pricing with your technical offer. Pricing will be determined utilizing a REVERSE AUCTION. All technically acceptable offerors may participate in the reverse auction. The reverse auction will take place on 25 June 2001 @ 1400 EST. Award is anticipated on 26 June 2001. Offers, including price, are binding for 30 days after submission and written acceptance of an offer by the government will result in a contract.
