Description

Work consists of providing all design services, supervision, = labor, materials, and equipment to replace the existing boiler, = auxiliary equipment and control system at the Dining Facility, Building = #1075. The existing boiler uses natural gas and produces steam at 12 = psig and is piped into a domestic hot water converter and low = temperature hot water system for the facility when the High Temperature = Hot Water (HTHW) Plant is inoperative. The contractor is to remove the = existing boiler and install new natural gas boilers, upgrade auxiliary = equipment as required to provide a completely operational system. = Awarded contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Request for = Quotation (RFQ) will be available on or about 30 Jun 01. Quotations = closing will be on or about 10 Jul 01. Performance period is 45 = calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The contract will = be awarded based on the lowest bid. This requirement is 100% set-aside = for small businesses. The RFQ will ONLY be available by electronic = transmission (see internet site: http://www2.eps.gov).
