Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented = with additional information included in this notice. This announcement = constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a = written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is = F5TEVM1142-0100. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). = The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are = those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This = acquisition is a small business set aside with a North American = Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334220, and a size = standard of not more than 750 employees. Air Force Flight Test Center, = Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for three (3) Digital Video = Compression Encoder with BNC connectors (ENC1000R5) and three (3) = Digital Video Compression Decoder with BNC connectors (DEC1000R5). = These devices are used to digitize and compress a standard analog NTSC = color video signal and output a single continuous serial digital output = representing the input picture. These encoders/decoders include PCM, = Audio, and RS232 Data Multiplexer. The decoder receives the digitized = video signal from the encoder via any type of digital communications = link. The decoder accepts the digital video signal from the = communications link devices in a digital data and digital clock format = and converts the signals back to the original standard NTSC color = analog television picture. Place of delivery and acceptance is at = Edwards AFB, CA, with an FOB destination and date of delivery of 30 = days after receipt of order.
