Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is issued on a sole source basis to Omohundro Co., Costa Mesa CA.. They are the OEM for the Radome. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0228 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 15 each Radome, Semi Omni, Band III (3) Omohundro PN: G384301-1, NSN: 5985-01-380-0501. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 120 days after award. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
