Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for Radio Control Set, NSN 5821-01-215-6174, P/N 70550-01008-042 The previous sources for this system are, Melstrom Manufacturing Corporation Cage Code 93953 , Rotair Industries Cage Code 54878, and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation Cage Code 78286. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
