Description

The original solicitation for an Atomic Force Microscope was printed in the CBD issue dated May 14, 2001; it is hereby modified as follows. ISSUE #1 SPECIFICATIONS ARE CHANGED TO READ: under item (3) System Controller, b) shall read: lateral resolution can demonstrate atomic-level imaging on graphite or mica; c) shall read: vertical resolution based on overall system noise level of 1/2 angstrom; and under item (4) Closed Loop Piezo Control System, a) shall read: linear precision better than one (1) percent. ISSUE #2 This modification also EXTENDS THE TIME FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS. The due date has been changed to 3:00 p.m., June 25, 2001. All other specifications, and terms and conditions remain the same.
