Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ 08733 intends to procure on a noncompetitive basis from Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, Owego, NY. This acquisition is for hardware in support of the MH-60 Program as follows: Time Domain Reflectometer/ Frequency Test Set (TDR/FTS) Adapter Set (P/N 6954828-1) (NIIN: 011994089) which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this modification under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Lockheed Martin Systems Integration as the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the TDR/FTS is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the needed equipment. Firms that recognize and support the MH-60 TDR/FTS are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
