Description

This notice is to amend prior CBD Notice Submission No. 50L2E7, posted in CBDNet on 4 May 2001. Subject solicitation for quantity eight (8) Step, Front Curbside, NSN: 2330-01-150-9864, IAW Part No. 13214E1461. The purpose of this amendment is remove the 100% Small Business Set-Aside competition restriction and solicite this effort under Full and Open Competition and extend the date for submission of quotes to 29 June 2001. Note that this is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for modified commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented herein. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars. Delivery is within 120 days after award, FOB Destination to New Cumberland, PA, 17070. Early delivery at no extra cost to the Government is encouraged. Packaging and packing shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM-D 3951-98. Bar code Markings are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BCI, USSC 39 and MIL-STD-129. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. To request CD-ROM drawings, e-mail the Contract Specialist with a copy furnished to the Contracting Officer via the electronic addresses provided below. Offerors are requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001AA, quantity eight (8) Front Curbside Step and CLIN 0002AA as a 100% Option Quantity valid for a period of 365 days from date of signed order. Award will be based upon the quote from the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The successful offeror shall complete FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, which would otherwise be included in a written solicitation, prior to award. Offerors are advised that applicable clauses shall be incorporated into the award document. Quotes are due not later than 1:30 PM, EDT on 29 June 2001.
