Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) located in Tucson Arizona is requesting professionals to provide Architectural-Engineering Services for a firm-fixed price contract to Repair Roads, Phase II. Provide technical and engineering services necessary to perform field investigation, prepare preliminary design, final designs, detailed cost estimates, provide construction drawings and documents for bidding and construction period services for repair and upgrade of streets, parking areas, sidewalks, crosswalks, curbing and the correction of drainage conditions at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System's Tucson, Arizona campus. Evaluation factors (1) through (4) are of equal importance. EVALUATION FACTORS: (1) Professional qualifications of the firm, principles and staff including any consultants, proposed for designing the project described above. (2) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. (3) Location in the general geographic area of the anticipated project (within 150 miles of Tucson) and knowledge of local site conditions and ability of the firm to provide timely response to requests for on-site support. (4) Record of significant claims against the A-E because of improper or incomplete architectural and engineering services. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. SUBMISSIONS: Firms which meet the requirements listed in this announcement are invited to submit one copy of the completed Standard Form (SF) 254 and SF 255 to Larry F. Miller (9-90C), SAVAHCS, 3601 South Sixth Ave., Tucson AZ 85723 not later than 4:00 (PST) on July 20, 2001. Fax copies of the SDF 254 and 255 will not be accepted. No material will be returned.
