Description

Notice of intent to issue a draft request for proposals (RFP) for Encore Information Technology (IT) Solutions, the follow-on to the existing Defense Enterprise Integration Services (DEIS) II contracts, which will expire on January 1, 2002. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) is requesting review and comments on this draft RFP for incorporation into a final RFP, planned for release in late mid August 2001. The draft RFP has been placed on the DITCO Contracting Opportunities Home Page at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/Public/ASP/dcop.asp. All comments and suggested changes must be sub-mitted no later than July 5, 2001. Encore is required in order to continue support and delivery of enterprise-level IT solutions (products and services) for the Department of Defense (DoD), other Federal agencies, and state and local governments. Contracts resulting from this RFP will be Multiple Award, Indefinite Deliv-ery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ). The anticipated period of performance is seven (7) years (3-year base pe-riod and 4 one-year option periods). Encore will also support a partial set-aside in which the Government intends to award at least two contracts to qualified small businesses, one of which will be a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB); NAICS code 541512 (Computer Design Services/$18M) applies.
