Description

The Health Resources and Services Administration proposes to conduct a limited competition after exclusion of sources in order to contract with one of the twelve professional associations of the Federation of Associations of Schools of Health Professions (FASHP). The purpose of the contract will be to conduct the Secretary's Award for Innovations in Health Promotions and Disease Prevention contest held annually on behalf of the Secretary by the Bureau of Health Professions in collaboration with one of the professional associations in the FASHP. This contest is limited to students of the Federation of Associations of Schools of Health Professions. It is expected that this requirement will result in a contract of thirty-six months. The twelve professional associations in FASHP are the only responsible sources capable of providing the required work and services of providing the work and services under authority in 41 U.S.C. 253 (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(II). This is not a solicitation. A copy of the solicitation has not yet been produced. A copy of the Justification for Other then Full and Open Competition is on file.
