Description

In support of Public Law 95-507 subcontracting requirements, Allegiance Healthcare Corporation is sponsoring a small business conference on August 22, 2001 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The conference will be held at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077. The conference will be an information exchange for small businesses serving the healthcare market and is a great opportunity to learn how to conduct business with Allegiance. Allegiance representatives will evaluate participants' potential to meet current and future Allegiance requirements. Participants will have the opportunity to talk directly with Allegiance personnel that influence buying decisions. Due to space limitations, Allegiance is seeking small businesses that are self-certified or that are already certified by Small Business Administration as: Small, Small Woman-Owned, Small Disadvantaged; Small Veteran-Owned; Small Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, and or Small HUBzone businesses. Participants must register in advance no later than July 9, 2001. Hotel accommodations are available at the nearby Doubletree Hotel North Shore (800) 979-4458. Hotel accommodations must be made no later than July 20. The conference is free of charge and includes complimentary lunch.
