Description

Single award, one year term contract for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Norfolk, VA for the procurement of the Profile Newsletter. The newsletter is issued 6 times a year during the months of October though March. 5 Issues will average of 40,000 copies with 24 pages and one issue will be for approximately 65,000 copies and 60 pages (usually the January issue). All issues will print in four-color process inks, 216 x 279 mm (8-1/2 x 11"), saddle stitched and trimmed 3 sides. Electronic media will be furnished on 100 MB ZIP disk or 1 GB JAZ cartridge, Mac compatible using OS 9.1, the main page lay out is in QuarkXPress 4.0, illustrations will be using Adobe Photo Shop 5.0. The contract requires such operations as composition, offset printing, binding, packing and distribution.
