Description

This project includes partial demolition and total remodel of existing 1600 square foot barracks structure, including construction of a 40'x28' barracks addition. The project is located at the Big Bend Fire Station, located just east of Cisco Grove on Interstate 80, at 6200 foot elevation. The site can be accessed by taking Interstate 80 east from Sacramento, CA., 85 miles to the Big Bend offramp. Proceed east 1/4 mile to the Big Bend Forest Service Fire Station. Estimate $250,000 to $500,000. Estimated start work date October 1, 2001, contract time 160 days. Estimated solicitation issue date 07/23/01. Bonding required.
