Description

This project invloves construction of approximately 7.5 miles of four-wire fence. Construction of the fence will consist of, but not limited to, H-braces, steel posts and barbed wire. If existing fence meets the contract specifications, it may be used in lieu of building new fence. This contract also includes removal of old existing fence. The project area is approximately 5 miles northwest of the Sula Ranger Station, 35 miles south of Hamilton, Montana on Highway 93. Access to the project area would be on Road #5727, Sula Peak Road. The majority of the fence is located along the ridge between Sula Peak and Elk Point, with two smaller sections of fencing extending down side ridges towards the west.
