Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace = the timber decking on the pier at Coast Guard Group Port Angeles, WA. = The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (a) Demolish = and remove the existing, and install new 4 x 12 treated timber decking = over the entire pier area, not including the east and west trestles; = (b) Demolish and remove the existing, and install new 10 x12 treated = bullrails and support blocking around the entire pier perimeter, not = including the east and west trestles; (c) Demolish and remove the = existing, and install new treated piles 28E, 29E, 29F, 45F, and 47F; = (d) Demolish and remove the existing, and install new pier light poles = and lights; (e) Install two (2) new utility troughs in the new decking; = (f) Remove and re-install the existing timber handrail around the = perimeter of the pier approach, not including the two trestles; (g) = Remove and re-install the existing mechanical and electrical items = mounted on the deck and bull rails as needed to perform the decking = replacement. These include, but are not limited to, electrical = conduit, water lines, sewer lines, vessel power shore tie, mooring = cleats, grated walking tread, fuel lines, and fuel hose reel and = cabinet;(h) Visually inspect the existing 4 x 14 treated stringers, 4 x = 14 blocking, and 14 x 14 spandrel beam upon deck removal. Demolish, = remove, and replace those stringers and spandrel beams found to be = structurally deficient; and (j) Provide temporary pedestrian access to = the East and West Floating Docks. The period of performance is 90 days = after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between = $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large = business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness = Demonstration Program.
