Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, for supplies in which the government intends to issue a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, to Para-Flite Inc., 5800 Magnolia Avenue, Pensauken, NJ (856) 663-1275. The Alaska Air National Guard, Anchorage, AK ha a requirement to purchase the MT-1XS, S/L Ram Air Parachute System (AAD-FF2), Part #811800-0 (quantity -- 15 each), with black harness/container, 370 sq/ft silver, 7-cell main canopy, and a 270 sq/ft silver 5-cell reserve canopy. Parachute system is a combination convertible static-line and free-all model, heavy duty high glide ratio parachute, and requires an oxygen pocket on the left side for use with 16 cubic inch Air Ox8 twin bottle parachutist oxygen system. Firms that believe they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer that they meet all specifications and can furnish these items. Reference solicitation # DAHA51-01-T-0042, when submitting a written inquiry on this requirement (Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply). NOTES: This announcement constitutes the only solicitaion/request for quotation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates the following provisions by reference, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. This contract will be issued under NAICS 31499 with a small business standard of 500 employees. Required delivery is to the Alaska Air National Guard, Anchorage, AK. Price for freight should be submitted as FOB Destination or FOB Origin, as a separate line item.
