Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0231, applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502(a). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and DCN 20000606. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 3333314. The Small business size standard is 500. The above request for quote is a total small business set aside. The following is a sole-source to Optimum Optical Systems, Inc., 4153 Calle Tesoro, Camarillo, CA 93012. The requirement is a follows: CLIN 0001 a quantity of 2 each IR Camera Lens, 1.5-5.0 Micrometer Bandpass Infrared Camera Lens, P/N: OOSI-22276., IAW: Requirements for a 150mm Broadband SWIR Objective Lens. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, In 47522. Final inspection will be at NSWC, Crane, IN. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
