Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), has a requirement for preemployment tests. These tests will be used to screen applicants for PPQ officer positions. The Government intends to award to Logos, Inc. as an unusual and compelling urgency under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-2. Delay in awarding a contract could have a serious impact on the US Economy, livestock, and food supply if Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) or invasive plant pests were to enter the country. The RFP should be released on or about June, 19, 2001 and the contract award should be made on or about July 10, 2001. The NAICS code is 611710.
