Description

Note 22 Applies: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA intends to place a non-competitive contract with Boeing Satellite Systems for On-Orbit support of Fleet Satellite Communication System UHF Follow-on Satellites. Boeing, formerly Hughes Space, is the original manufacturer of the satellites and holds certain proprietary data rights. Services will include spacecraft anomaly analysis and resolution, operational and mission planning, and training. Contract performance will require security clearance. The proposed contract type will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery -- Indefinite Quantity type contract for a base year and four (4) one-year options with performance to begin 01 Jan 2002. Place of performance will be the contractor's facility. Proposed contract will provide support to the Naval Satellite Operations Center's (NAVSOC) Pt. Mugu.
